Once approved for a loan, you'll be prompted to connect your personal debit card for automatic recurring loan payments.

Cards Accepted

• Personal debit card. This debit card must be linked to a bank account that has a routing and account number

Cards Not Accepted

• Credit cards
• Gift cards
• Business debit cards 
• HSA cards
• FSA cards
• Prepaid debit cards- a prepaid debit card is different from a traditional personal debit card in that it is not tied to a bank account with a routing and account number. A prepaid card can be issued by a bank or financial service company, but unless the debit card is tied to a bank account with a routing and account number, it is a prepaid debit card.

Note: Basis accepts or rejects cards based upon the information we receive from our third party payment processor, Nuvei. Nuvei classifies cards based upon the information they receive directly from the companies who issue the rules for processing the transactions (such as VISA or Mastercard). Nuvei relies on the information received directly from the card issuer and is not doing any independent verification of their own.
